Contract signed between P.S. “TELEFONIJA” a.d. and TELENOR d.o.o.

Belgrade company P.S. "Telefonija" a.d. signed an agreement with Telenor d.o.o., in which Telefonija will do the installation and maintenance of 400-kilometer-long fiber optic cable ranging from Dobanovci to Dimitrovgrad (Dimitrovgrad being on the border with the Republic of Bulgaria), worth several million euros. By signing this contract, Telefonija’s tradition continues in the same manner, in a way that the biggest, most demanding and most complex operations in the field of the construction of telecommunications networks are being conferred to our company. The capacity of the said telecommunications section is 144 optical fibers. Its construction will render telecommunication infrastructure to be of greater capacity and speed of data transfer than the existing optical networks, and provide optical network along the main routes in Serbia, which changes the access network of mobile telephony in order for the access to the broadband Internet to be easier and faster for many citizens. Completion of construction and commissioning of the entire system is expected in the second quarter of 2011.

P.S. "Telefonija" a.d. signed a regional agreement with the company Rhea Express to deliver software solutions INGEPOST.
Telefonija succeeded in presenting this completely developed modular solution that is proven on the local market, in other countries as well, announced the Director of E-business Department, Nebojsa Simovic.

Rhea Express Company is a regional licensed partner of FedEx in the region and covers the markets of Croatia, Slovenia, Bosnia & Herzegovina, and Montenegro. Domestic software solution Ingepost was entirely developed by our software engineers, who have been working in this field for years. The platform that supports the module of Call Center, reception and delivery of shipments, track & trace, warehouse management and sorting shipments will be further expanded by new modules for the integration with the national FEDEX system to track shipments, and with the existing GPS system, as modules for the Customs and forwarding services. The requirements of Rhea Express are very complex and require a lot of changes, as well as multilingual support system, but on the other hand, a secure path towards the implementation of Ingepost solutions with other licensed FEDEX partners worldwide is opened.

In the contest for best local brands within "Best of Serbia'', the event organized by the Ministry of Trade and Services, Serbian Chamber of Commerce and daily economic newspaper ''Economic Review", which was held this year for the seventh time, P.S. "Telefonija" a.d. won the first prize for the best brand in the category: Corporate Brand - Service Companies - Production Services.

Public voting for choosing the best in commodity, and corporate brand category was completed on Friday, 26 November, 2010, and in the category of Best Personal Brand, chosen with a view to promote Serbia, the voting was finished on Tuesday, 30 November, 2010.

Business results and customers / business partners’ opinion, along with the jury’s marks, decided the best in Serbia, and Telefonija has once again confirmed and strengthened the position of the leading system integrator in the field of communications and information technology in Serbia.

The closing and award ceremony within "Best of Serbia 2010 " was held on Wednesday, December 15, in Atelje 212, on which occasion Telefonija CEO, Mr. Predrag Sofrenić, received an award - special statue for the first place, for the best corporate brand in Serbia in 2010.

In the first six months 2010, the operating revenue rose by 29% as compared to the same period last year

The continuance of adverse economic situation marked the first half-year of 2010, which in turn reflected on the business results of most companies in Serbia.

Despite this, P.S. “Telefonija“ a.d. succeeded in achieving remarkable success. Owing to the exceptional effort and competence of our employees, we recorded the operating revenue amounting to 534,575,000 RSD, which is 29% more than in the same period last year.

Our success is even greater as it comes at the moment when most people have become hopeless, awaiting the end of the business year apprehensively.

P.S. 'Telefonija' a.d. issued the first long-term corporate bonds on the Serbian market

P.S.‘Telefonija’ a.d. is the first company on the Serbian market to issue long-term corporate bonds. 5,000 bonds with the par value of RSD 10,000 were issued, which amounts to EUR 500,000 in total. The bonds are issued in the process of private placement with four years maturity date, coupons being payable quarterly each year until the end of maturity.
The interest consists of variable and fixed part and yields the amount equivalent to the rate of yearly EURIBOR increased by the fixed 7.5%.
This is a private offering whose investor is ‘Wiener Staedtische’ a.d., and in the future we plan more private placements for other insurance companies. We also plan the sale of an issue of corporate bonds to the public.

The President of P.S. ‘Telefonija’ a.d. , Branimir Bošković, stated at the press conference that he hopes Telefonija’s step towards the financial market will be an incentive to other companies in Serbia to issue corporate bonds.

Telefonija CEO, Predrag Sofrenić, stated that the money received in the private offering will be used for the development and construction of gas network, as well as for improving internet services capacity.

The President of the Securities Commission, Milko Štimac, announced that this also was a great challenge for all the members of the Commission who had invested a lot of work and effort so that what is legally possible could be put into effect. He emphasized that a corporate bond is a new instrument to collect means for the development of the economy.

Director of WM Partners and consultant in the procedure, Vladimir Pavlović, stated that there already are several short-term issues worth a couple of million euros, and that this was the first long-term issue, while in Croatia this market is worth several billion euros. According to Mr. Pavlović, the structure of bonds is such that through coupons the investors will be paid only the interest during the first year, whereas the principal will be paid in the following years, in which manner the investors are protected against the risks.

Aleksandra Kukić, the agent in this procedure (Erste Bank), deems this to be a truly brave move of Telefonija, which pioneered the issue of long-term corporate bonds on the Serbian market.

Contract signed between P.S. ‘Telefonija’ a.d. and STRABAG AG worth 2M EUR

In the contract signed on May 7, 2010, construction company STRABAG AG is the contractor in the ‘Gazela’ Bridge Rehabilitation Project, and P.S.‘Telefonija’ a.d. is a subcontractor executing the traffic management during the reconstruction of Gazela bridge. The value of this contract is around 2 million EUR.

The project investor is ‘PUTEVI SRBIJE’ company.

It was planned that the works start on June 20, 2010, and will be performed by employees working 3 shifts 24 hours a day. The estimated deadline for executing works is 24 months.

Construction of high pressure distribution pipeline in Subotica

The works on the construction of 28-kilometre-long high pressure distribution pipeline in 12 local communities in Subotica officially began on December 8th, 2009. The Chairman of the Executive Committee of Vojvodina, Bojan Pajtić, attended the opening ceremony which was held at the construction site, as well as the Mayor of Subotica, the management of P.S.’Telefonija’ a.d. and presidents of local communities. Building this distribution pipeline enables supply of natural gas to 12,000 households and industries in this area. Vojvodina Capital Investment Fund donated the means for the construction, JP SRBIJAGAS being the investor, and P.S.’Telefonija’ a.d. being the contractor in this project.
